AT MESA 2020-21 - Player of the Year in the ACCAC and first team all-conference. Tied for 35th place in the 112-player field at the NJCAA Division I National Championship. Won the Pima Invitational with an 84-83--167 and was second at the Estrella Mountain Invitational, carding an 82-86--168. Her best round of the year was a 73 at the Chandler-Gilbert Invitational.
AT BISMARCK H.S. - An all-state player in 2016 and 2019 for coach Matt Mullally. Also all-conference as a junior and senior and all-region in her senior season. An Honor Roll student all four years and a member of the National Honor Society. Played with the orchestra, jazz band and steel drum band. Also a member of Saints for Life, Vera Forma and the yearbook.
PERSONAL - Abby Schmidt was born July 9, 2001 in Bismarck, N.D. She is a Business Entrepreneurism and Management major. She is the daughter of Tom and Carissa Schmidt and has two bothers, Alex, 22 and Zachary, 16. Volunteers with Goodwill, Salvation Army and other events at school and in church. Worked at Riverwood, Hawktree and Pebble Creek Golf Clubs as well as at Bob's Fireworks and is a baby-sitter.
