Bio

AT MESA (2020-21) - Reached the quarter-final round of the NJCAA national championships at No. 5 singles. Won his first match, 6-0, 6-1, over Alex Newman, of Illinois Valley and then captured his second round match, 6-0, 6-0, over Emmanuel Warner of New Mexico Military Institute. Finally fell in the quarter-finals to top seeded Sergio Gomez Bolz, of Eastern Florida State, 6-3, 6-0. In the ACCAC he was the No. 5 singles champion and posted a 5-1 match record for the year.  
AT NDEKE SECONDARY - The top seed in the Copperbelt Conference for three years. Played for coach Ray Masika. An all-around athlete, he also played soccer, rugby and basketball, ran track and field and chase. A member of the Math, Physics and Red Cross Clubs. Has taught tennis in his spare time and worked at a car repair center.
PERSONAL - Duncan Mulenga’s birthday is April 20 and he was born in Mpika Kasama, Zambia. He is the son of Kenneth  Simuchima and Idah Mavuka. The Marketing major has two brothers, King Joe and Junior and a sister Kundamanji. His grandfather, Max Sichula, played on the Zambian national tennis team. It was a great adventure meeting his new teammates. He loves sports and reading and has played tennis since he was seven.
