AT MESA (2020-21) - Won the ACCAC and Region I championships at No. 1 singles. He posted a 9-1 record during the regular season. At the NJCAA national championship he won his first round match against Sergio Garcia, of Itawamba, 6-2, 6-1.
AT DESERT VISTA H.S. - Four times all-state and all- conference for coach Adrian Boyarsky. Ranked in the top five in the Southwest.
PERSONAL - Beto Carlon’s birthday is Aug. 3 and he was born in Phoenix, AZ. He is majoring in Criminal Law and is the son of Austreberto and Yolanda Carlon. He has two sisters: Yolena, 24 and Ana, 23. Yolena played No. 1 at Dixie State and was an all-ACCAC player at Mesa. Beto was ranked the No. 1 Arizona Junior, as. well as No. 5 in the Southwest. He does volunteer work with Feed My Starving Children as well as helping coach tennis. His goal is to play professionally on the ATP Tour.
