The No. 16 ranked MCC Men's Soccer team opens up conference play Tuesday night at home against the No. 2 DI team in the country, Arizona Western College.
The Thunderbirds come in with a 2-1 overall record (0-0 ACCAC). Winners of their last two games against Scottsdale CC and Paradise Valley, the T-Birds will have a tall task against the 4-0-1 Matadors. The two teams met once last year in which resulted in a 2-0 AWC victory.
Both teams have faced off and defeated SCC thus far in the season, a 2-1 nail biter of a win for MCC, and an 8-0 dominating win for AWC.
