WTF Finishes 9th Overall at Indoor Nationals

Topeka, KS - The Thunderbirds women's track & field team finished ninth overall in the team scoring at the 2023 NJCAA Indoor Championships.
The lady T-Birds scored 28 points and was the highest-ranked ACCAC team. New Mexico JC won the team title with 116 points.
Taylor Jacobs broke her own school record in the 600m final, as she earned All-American honors with a third-place finish and ran a personal-best time of 1:33.76.
Kate Brockman earned AA honors in two events, the 800m (seventh - 2:19.15 PB) and the 1000m (seventh - 3:09.96).
Anna Harmon also was a two-time AA, first in the mile (fifth - 5:13.14 PB) and then the 1000m (sixth - 3:09.09).
The 4x400m relay team (Diane Ondobo, Zaria Hamilton, Katherine Lemish, and Jacobs) was sixth overall with a time of 3:52.40 to earn AA honors.
Mesa will start their outdoor season on March 16th with the Mesa Outdoor Multi & 10K. It will be the first home meet this year on the newly resurfaced track at John D. Riggs Stadium.
