Personal: Born August 8, 2001...son of Patrick and Lisa Samford...has two brothers (Liam-12, and Zach-28)...graduate of Campo Verde High School...earned 5A All-State honors twice (runner-up in 200m, fourth in 100m) at 2019 State Championships…high school coach was Josh Morgan…majoring in Exercise Science.

2021 Track and Field: Competed in seven meets during the outdoor season...earned All-ACCAC honors in the 400m (2nd, 48.02) at the ACCAC Championships...earned All-American honors in the 400m (3rd, personal-best time of 47.08) at the NJCAA Division I Outdoor Championships.

2020 Track and Field: Competed in four meets during the indoor season...ran a personal-best time of 21.52 seconds in the 200m at the Gaucho Indoor Invitational...ran a personal-best time of 6.90 seconds in the 60m at the NAU Tune-Up...outdoor season cancelled due to COVID-19.
