Mesa soccer begins conference play against Glendale Saturday night.
The men's soccer team has been on a five game winning streak and look to extend it to six against Glendale. This is the second matchup between the T-Birds and Gauchos, in their first matchup Mesa was able to secure the victory behind a three goal second half.
Going into conference play Mesa currently holds a 5-1 record and sits third in the ACCAC standings behind Phoenix and Pima College respectively.
The start to the women's season has been slow but is picking up pace as the T-Birds were able to get on the scoreboard for the first time this season against Paradise Valley in the 6-2 loss. This will be the first matchup against Glendale this season as their previous contest was canceled.
Going into conference play Mesa currently sits in last place in the ACCAC standings at 0-4.
The men's contest will start at 5:30 P.M. followed by the women's game at 8:00 P.M.
