MCC Volleyball travels to South Mountain CC on Friday for an ACCAC showdown.
The Lady T-Birds come into play on Friday with a 10-13 overall record and a 6-7 conference mark. Mesa is coming off a 3-2 loss at the hands of Pima on Wednesday. MCC is just 1-4 in their last five matches with their only win coming against Central Arizona (3-0).
South Mountain enters play on Wednesday with a 11-14 overall mark, 6-7 in conference play. The Cougars are 3-2 in their last five games with wins over Phoenix College (3-0), Glendale CC (3-2), and Central Arizona (3-0).
Friday's matchup will prove extremely important for both teams as they are both in the hunt for the last playoff spot.
It will all come down to Mesa, Pima, and South Mountain for the fourth and final playoff position as they all have a 6-7 conference record. Out of those three teams Mesa's remaining opponents (SMCC, GCC, and PC) have the lowest winning percentage when it comes to conference games on average with .333.
