Women's tennis falls to Paradise Valley, 5-2

  Mesa, AZ – The Mesa women's tennis team won two singles matches, but the short-handed T-Birds fell to Paradise Valley Tuesday in ACCAC tennis.

  Sage Schula, playing at No. 2 singles, evened her record at 2-2, avenging an earlier loss to PVCC with a thrilling win over Krystel Quintero, 6-4, 5-7, 10-6.

  In addition, Adry Romero improved to 2-1 for the season with a 6-1, 7-5 win at No. 3 singles over Savannah Sosa.

  MCC is now 1-3 for the season with the Pumas improving to 2-0.

  Mesa will wait until April 2 before returning at action with a match at Eastern Arizona.
