AT McCLINTOCK H.S. - MVP for three consecutive years playing for coach Katherine White. Placed second at the all-city meet twice and won three varsity letters. Won the Joe Selleh Award twice and also played badminton for two seasons. An Honor Roll Student, member of the National Honor Society and won the Excellence in Education Award. Was a member of the Students Against Destructive Decisions Club, Science Club, and orchestra. Did volunteer work at Feed My Starving Children, the Tempe Public Library, Paz dec Christo, Volunteerfest and was a Service Learning Assistant. Served an internship at Rio Saldo C.C.
