The men's basketball team knocked off Arizona Sol last night, 95-60, as they concluded non-conference play. The team improves their record to 4-0 so far in the season.
The T-Birds shared the ball with efficiency last night as they had five players in double figures scoring, Evan Clayton (18), Lual Lual (15), Timmy Johnson (14), Orlando Gonzalez (10), Ricky Hernandez (10). The team shot well from the floor as they went 45.9% from the field and 30.8% from three point range.
Mesa also used their size to their advantage as they dominated the glass 60-25, while having four players with at least seven or more rebounds in the contest.
After a quick start the team will have a bit over a week off as their next game will be Nov. 22 against South Mountain at home as they open up conference play.
