Men's basketball looks to stay hot offensively as they battle Arizona Sol.

Monday, November 14, 2022 - 3:20 pm | Dylan DeVlieger

The men's basketball team will put their three game winning streak on the line tonight as they battle Arizona Sol at home.

The team is coming into their fourth game of the season averaging 101 points a game on 51.9% shooting from the floor.  Defensively the T-Birds have done a solid job as they've only allowed 63.3 points per game to opponents on 40% shooting.

So far in the season there doesn't seem to be a lack of scorers as Mesa has five different players averaging double digits scoring per game, Timmy Johnson (17), Justin Chambers (14.3), Evan Clayton (14.3), Nicholas Riley (13.5), & Lual Lual (12).

This is the fourth home game for Mesa as they will have three more before they hit the road for the fist time in early December. This is also the teams last non-conference game as they will open up conference play against South Mountain, Nov. 22.

The game tonight will tip off at 6:00 pm at Theo Heap Gymnasium.
