The MCC baseball team lost to South Mountain Thursday afternoon, 13-2.
MCC would get on the board early as they were able to get an RBI single off the bat of Adrian Fernandez Jr. in the top of the first inning, but SMCC would answer back with offense of their own.
After holding SMCC to just four runs in their game yesterday, the Thunderbirds surrendered thirteen runs in the first four innings of today's game.
MCC would add a run in the top of the seventh as they dropped their second straight game to the Cougars.
With the loss the T-Bird record falls to 15-18 (3-15 ACCAC). The team will be back in action on Saturday as they will host Yavapai College in a conference doubleheader.
