Cross Country Sign Two Valley Runners

The womens Cross Country has signed 2 tremendous athletes for the 2016-2017 season in Yarithza Soto of Maryvale High and Savanna Bradshaw of Queen Creek High. Both, Yarithza and Savanna are two of the top runners in their respective divisions.  

I am very excited and honored to have signed Yarithza and Savanna to our very deep women's team who placed 5th at Nationals last season. Yarithza is the top returning 800m runner in the state regardless of division, and I look forward to what she can accomplish in our program. She is the kind of athlete that can really change a program, and take it to where we want to go.  

Savanna will also come in and make an immediate impact. Her times from her junior year point to very good things to come from her, not only during her senior year at Queen Creek, but next year as well.  

Both additions will bode well for the women's team, who will look to improve on their 5th place finish from last season.
