No. 15 Mesa Volleyball falls to No. 2 Parkland College on Wednesday night, 3-0 ending their hopes of capturing a national title.
The T-Birds fought hard but timely mistakes proved to be the difference. MCC competed well in the first set losing 25-19. In the second and third set Mesa pushed the Cobras to the limit but were unable to get over the hump, falling, 27-25 in both sets.
Izabel Wagner had 10 kills, Aolani Motu had seven total blocks, Brianna Anderson had 24 digs, and Isa Folau had two service aces.
MCC falls into the consolation bracket and will take on No. 17 Milwaukee Area Technical College on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. CST / 10 a.m. MST.
