Anderson, Folau, Barris, and Avechuco all collect Postseason awards

Mesa Volleyball racks up multiple Region I Postseason awards after their successful 2024 regular season.
Anderson was named to the DII All-Region I 1st Team and the Region I DII Libero of the Year. Anderson was named as the ACCAC DII Defensive Player of the Week four times and NJCAA National Defensive Player of the Week once.
In her freshman season Anderson led the ACCAC in diggs (670) and digs/set 6.44 while totaling 119 assists. Anderson is the first Mesa libero to total more than 600 digs in a season since Camy Cohn in 2017.
Folau was named as an All-Region Honorable Mention in her first year as a T-Bird. Folau led Mesa in service aces this season with 40, tallied 241 kills (second on the team), and was second on the team in kills/set with 2.34.
Barris collects her second Region award in her time as a T-Bird as she was named to the All-Region Second Team. In her sophomore season Barris averaged .97 blocks/set and 1.57 kills/set this season.
Avechuco was named an All-Region Honorable Mention for her 2024 season. Avechuco leads the team in kills/set with 2.72 as well as total kills with 272. Avechuco was named as the ACCAC DII Week 1 Offensive Player of the Week.
