MCC Indoor volleyball snapped their six match losing streak in a big way on Wednesday as they defeated Pima CC, 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-20) to improve their overall record to 6-7 and their conference mark to 3-2.
In their six straight losses the Lady T-Birds only managed to win one set against their exclusive DI opponents. On Wednesday MCC did not allow the Aztecs to gain momentum to steal a single set from them.
The third set was the most competitive between the two teams as neither could get the upper hand on the other until MCC broke a 15-15 tie. Though the two teams did battle back and forth the Lady T-Birds were able to seal the deal on the last set to secure the victory.
Mesa will be back in action on Friday as they host South Mountain Community College at 7:00 P.M.
