Scottsdale, Ariz. - The Mesa Thunderbirds volleyball team lost to the #4 nationally ranked Scottsdale Fighting Artichokes last night by a score of 3-0.
The T-Bird's record falls to 1-2 with the loss. The Artichokes stay unbeaten at 5-0.
The T-Birds weren't able to get much done offensively. Losing all three sets by scores of 11-25, 6-25, and 14-25.
Up next for Mesa volleyball, they face the Pima Aztecs at home on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 7:00 pm. This Friday's match against Park-Gilbert has been cancelled.
