No. 22 Women's Tennis falls to NCAA opponent NAU over the weekend

No. 22 Mesa Women's Tennis took on NCAA opponent Northern Arizona University on Saturday as they continue the non-conference portion of their spring season.
Mesa would get swept in both matches against the Lumberjacks, but the competition the T-Birds faced will only help them down the line, especially in conference play.
"Two tough matches with lots of good points but could not capitalize. They were very tough opponents and we got better by playing them. This will help us to be ready for our region title defense starting next week," said head coach Feroz Rast.
Mesa will be back in action next Tuesday (Feb. 18) as they open up conference action at home against Paradise Valley.
