(#25) Women's tennis closes regular season with 6-3 win over Paradise Valley
Paradise Valley, AZ – The 25th-ranked Mesa women's tennis team completed the 2022 regular season with a 6-3 win over Paradise Valley Wednesday.
The T-Birds completed the season with a 9-6 record, going 6-3 in ACCAC play, finishing in second place.
"What a way to finish the regular season," exclaimed head coach Feroz Rast. " I'm so proud of both teams," he added noting the men had won their eighth straight ACCAC title.
"The ladies handled their business today. Kendra and Brenna dominated No. 2 doubles and Zari pulled out a big win at No. 3 singles to close out the 6-3 team win."
Next up for the MCC women is the Region I championship which will be held April 12 at the Paseo Tennis Center in Glendale, AZ.
