Short-handed women's tennis falls to Pima, 5-4
Tucson, AZ – With a short-handed squad, the Mesa women's tennis team battled, but lost, to Pima, 5-4, in an ACCAC match Tuesday.
"The ladies were amazing today both in singles and doubles," said head coach Feroz Rast. "Sage and Adriana won 8-5 in No. 2 doubles and Alahzay and Isabella fought hard but lost 8-6. We went into singles with a lot of confidence and I was so proud of the fight and the will to win. We won three out of the four singles played and almost pulled out the team win. I know we will keep getting better."
The MCC women will host Eastern Arizona Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
