The MCC Women's Soccer team earned their second victory of the season as they beat South Mountain CC on Tuesday night, 6-1.
It was the best first half for the Lady T-Birds of the season as they scored four goals before the halftime horn sounded. Rylee Lawson got the scoring started as she netted her first goal of the year in the 23rd minute. Just three minutes later Hailey Hough would net her fourth goal of the season and first of three goals on the night.
In the 31st minute Adelaide Meier would find the back of the net for her second goal of the year. Just before half in the 35th minute Hough would score her second goal of the night to put MCC up 4-0 before half.
In the 60th minute Hough would pick up where she left off and would find the back of the net for her third goal of the night. In the 74th minute Olivia Bodily would cushion the Lady T-Birds lead even more as she would score her first goal of the year.
Mesa was unable to complete the shutout as the Cougars were able to muster a goal in the 88th minute.
The Lady T-Birds will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to take on Phoenix College.
