The MCC Women's Soccer team got their first victory of the season on Tuesday as they defeated Paradise Valley CC, 3-0 to improve their overall record to 1-2 (0-0 ACCAC).
The Lady T-Birds offense was clicking on all cylinders for the first time this season as they were able to generate 31 shots on goal.
The scoring started early as Hailey Hough found the back of the net in the 9th minute off a Olivia Bodily assist. MCC was able to tack on one more just before halftime as in the 39th minute Olivia Rodina snuck one past the goalie off a Hough assist.
In the 51st minute Hough came back for seconds as she scored off a deflected shot by the goalie, giving her team a 3-0 lead.
Mesa would hold on defensively to earn their first victory, in shutout fashion. The Lady T-Birds will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to take on Cochise College in their first conference game of the season.
