Women's soccer falls at Chandler-Gilbert, 2-0

Chandler, AZ – Playing their second game in two nights the Mesa women's soccer team ran out of steam and fell on the road to Chandler-Gilbert, 2-0, Saturday night in a non-conference meeting.

The T-Birds thus lost their fourth straight contest and fell to 0-4. The Coyotes are 3-0.

MCC also started last season slowly, going just 1-4 in non-conference play, but rebounded to finish the year 9-7-2 and in the Region I, DII, championship game.

CGCC scored once each towards the middle of each half.

Mesa's scheduled meeting with Justice College on Tuesday has been cancelled, so the T-Birds will next play Saturday in their first ACCAC game of the year at home against Glendale at 8 p.m.
