Phoenix, AZ - Mesa women's soccer beat the South Mountain Cougars Tuesday afternoon with a 3-0 shutout victory.
The T-Birds scored their first goal on a penalty kick from Maia Gajate in the 37th minute.
Mesa then scored two more goals in the second half, getting goals from Logen Moen with an assist from Monica Chavez in the 68th minute.
The final goal came off the foot of Martina Bueno with assists coming from Isabel Casillas and Sydney White in the 88th minute.
Mesa is now 3-4 on the season. They will be back at home on Saturday night against Cochise College at 7 p.m.
