SCOTTSDALE, AZ - In a re-scheduled game from a contest postponed Sept. 4 by inclement weather, the Mesa women's soccer team dropped a tough, 1-0, decision to Scottsdale on the road Tuesday.
A goal by Victoria Dunnigan, in the 55th minute was the only score of the contest as MCC fell to 2-2-2 on the season. Scottsdale has a 4-2-2 mark.
Mesa goalkeeper Danielle Torres (So., Yuma, AZ/Kofa H.S.) made nine saves in the contest.
The T-Birds take on Chandler-Gilbert Thursday at 8:00 p.m. at John D. Riggs Stadium.
