Morris' goal late in second OT lifts women's soccer past Pima, 1-0

  MESA, AZ - Anna Morris, pictured right, (Fr., Mesa, AZ/Desert Ridge H.S,.) picked a perfect time to score her second goal of the season, scoring with just 4:41 remaining in the second overtime and gave the Mesa women's soccer team a thrilling, 1-0, win over Pima Saturday night at John D. Riggs Stadium.

  The win keeps MCC in contention for an ACCAC playoff spot. The T-Birds are 8-9 in conference play. They are battling with Phoenix, 7-8-2 and Pima, which is 8-8-1. 

  Mesa will finish its regular season at Chandler-Gilbert Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
