Lady T-Birds trail going into final round at CGCC Invite

The women's golf team shot a first round (323) and trail host first place Chandler-Gilbert (318) by 5 strokes going into today's final round at Las Colinas GC. 

Alyzzah Vakasiuola (73) and Addison King (76) are in 2nd and 3rd after day one. Mary Tukuafu and Raquel Pargas shot matching 87's and are tied for 13th going into Monday's final round. Chandler Gilbert's Kaylin Johnson (70) is the first round leader.

"CGCC wants to win their host tournament! They have been playing better as of late and would love finish on a high note. We need to minimize mistakes if we want to catch them and win this event," said head coach John Guerrero.

The final round begins at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
