Mesa CC women's golf team won the South Mountain invite shooting rounds of 314-323 (647) edging Pima CC by 8 strokes.
Presley Pickron 3rd, Abby Schmidt 5th, Mackenzie Vongphosy 6th earned top 6 medals.
Mesa won 5 of 6 ACCAC conference events this year.
"It was a total team effort as all 6 of our players' scores were used in this event. Good bounce back after not winning last week," said head coach John Guerrero.
POST SEASON AWARDS
Mesa CC won the ACCAC Championship for 2023. This is the program's 21st ACCAC title.
Mesa CC won the Region 1 Championship for 2023. This is the program's 21 Region I title.
Mesa has won the ACCAC and Region 1 Championships 20 of the last 22 years.

John Guerrero - Coach of the Year 2023. This is coach Guerrero's 19th Coach of the Year award.
Mesa, SM, Pima qualified for SouthWest District Championship which will take place Apr 17-19 at Hillcrest GC in Sun City, Az.
