Women's golf wins ACCAC Fall Preview, Men 3rd
Mesa, AZ – The Mesa women's golf team won their final tournament of the fall season, while the men took third place at the ACCAC Fall Preview Monday and Tuesday at the Dobson Ranch G,C.
The women won their 20th consecutive ACCAC event, although there was only one other conference team involved. MCC finished with a 312-311—623 total to top South Mountain which posted a 321-315—636.
Abby Schmidt paced MCC with a 78-76—154 total, tying for second place. Jolie Guyette was one shot back in fourth place with a 78-77—155 and Presley Pickron was another shot behind at 77-79—156. That was in a field of 17 players.
The men were led by Dawson Moon, who tied for sixth place, with a four-under-par 69-71—140. Ray Ramirez took eighth place, one shot back at 69-72-141. Tomas Ribeiro finished 11th carding a 75-69—144. There were 43 players in the field.
