No. 3 Women's Basketball looks to extend winning streak on Saturday against Yavapai College

No. 3 MCC Women's Basketball looks to win their fourth straight game on Saturday afternoon as they travel to take on Yavapai College.

The Lady T-Birds enter play on Saturday with a 7-2 overall mark (3-1 ACCAC) after their 83-36 victory over Phoenix College on Wednesday. It was a team win for Mesa as they had just two players in double figures while their bench accounted for 49 total points in the victory.

Yavapai College come into action on Saturday with a 1-8 overall record (1-3 ACCAC) after losing their fourth straight game on Wednesday against Snow College. The Roughriders have lost four straight games.

  • Stay hot from the field: The Lady T-Birds have averaged 81 PPG on 47.9% shooting from the field in their last three games, all of them wins. For MCC to extend their winning streak to four, shooting with efficiency from the floor will be key.

  • Continue to share the rock: MCC ranks second in the conference in assists/game with 18.3. Mesa has had at least 20 assists in all of their conference wins this season.
