Scottsdale, AZ - The Thunderbrids women's basketball lost to the Scottsdale Fighting Artichokes for the second time this season on Saturday evening, 67-60.
With the loss, the Pima Aztecs have clinched home-court advantage for the 2023 NJCAA Region I, Div. II playoffs.
With one game to go in the regular season, Mesa needs a win or an SCC loss to earn the two-seed and host a playoff game on Wednesday, March 8th.
The lady T-Birds (19-9 overall, 14-7 ACCAC) will close out the 2022-23 regular season with a road matchup against the South Mountain Cougars on Tuesday at 7:30 PM.
