Zyan Smith Earns NJCAA DII All-American Honors for the 2019-2020 Season
The NJCAA has announced its All-American teams for the 2019-2020 and the Mesa Thunderbirds, Zyan Smith, has earned a spot on the 2nd team.
Freshman Zyan Smith came in immediatley and made a great impact in the Thunderbirds lineup. Starting 25 of 28 games, Smith averaged 13.7 points per game while shooting 69.9 percent from the field. She averaged 8.1 rebounds per game and dished out 2.3 assists a game. Eight times during the 2019-2020 campaign she recorded a double-double in points and rebounds while 23 times scoring in double-digits.
