MCC softball finished their regular season on the road on Saturday with two close losses to Arizona Western College.
In game one the Lady T-Birds held a 3-4 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning but gave up the tying and winning run on a homerun to left field as they lost, 5-4.
In game two MCC's bats were not able to string together enough offense to take down the Lady Matadors as they fell, 5-2.
With the two losses MCC softball finishes the season with a 26-28 record while going 20-28 in conference play. The Lady T-Birds will be in action on Friday as they participate in the NJCAA Region I DII Tournament where they will be the No. 3 seed and take on the No. 2 seeded Phoenix College Bears.
