The MCC softball team picked up two critical wins on Tuesday afternoon against Glendale to send their Lady T-Birds off in style in their last home contest.
After fighting back from a 7-3 deficit in the bottom of the sixth, MCC rallied to beat GCC 9-7 after Leilanie Dalizon hit a walk-off home run.
In game two Alex Reeve got the party started for MCC as she went yard over the centerfield fence to give her team a 3-0 advantage. The Lady T-Birds would tack on two more while only surrendering two runs as they won game two, 5-2.
With the wins MCC moves back to .500 as they hold a 26-26 record (20-26 ACCAC). They will be on the road for their last doubleheader of the season as they travel to Arizona Western on Saturday.
