MCC baseball and softball were unable to secure a victory over the weekend in their ACCAC contests.

Baseball

The baseball team fell to Central Arizona College Saturday, 10-1. MCC's lone run came off the bat of Bret Housel as he blasted a solo homerun. With the loss CAC extends their win streak to 24 games.

With the loss MCC's overall record falls to 15-24 (3-21 ACCAC). The team will be back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Cochise College for a doubleheader.

Softball

The softball lost both games of their doubleheader against Eastern Arizona College. With the losses the team's overall record falls to 20-14 (14-14 ACCAC).

In game one the Lady T-Birds were one out away from getting the win. They led 2-1 but gave up a three run homerun to the Gila Monsters to walk the game off as EAC won 4-2.

In game two EAC was hot offensively as they put 11 runs on the board, MCC was not as fortunate as they were only able to score one run in the 11-1 defeat.

The Lady T-Birds will be back in action at home on Tuesday against Chandler-Gilbert in a doubleheader.
