Phoenix, AZ - Mesa took an early 4-0 lead in game one but self-inflicted mistakes helped the Bears take both games Thursday afternoon, 10-6, 10-2 (6).
Raychelle Hernandez went 3-5 in game one with a double and three RBI's while in game two, Leighann Ballersteros went 2-3 with one RBI and one run.
The T-Birds have lost their last four games but look to turn things around this weekend in Prescott, when they play Embry Riddle and Community College of Spokane in the Pioneer Par Tournament.
