Softball Falter Against NAIA Benedictine, 13-9
Mesa, AZ- In a non-conference game against NAIA Benedictine-Mesa, the T-Birds fall 13-9 Tuesday afternoon.
Down 6-1 in the fourth inning, Mesa rallied for five runs, topped off with a Leighann Ballesteros two RBI double to left field.
Mesa eventually took the lead at 8-6 but the T-Birds relief pitching couldn't hold on to the lead.
The T-Birds will be at home again this Thursday against the College of Spokane, first pitch at noon.
