T-Bird Cross Country soars at George Young Invite

T-Bird Cross Country took to the course on Saturday morning as they competed in the George Young Invite in Coolidge, AZ.

The T-Bird Men finished with five athletes in the top 20 and eight in the top 30. Mesa was led by freshman Cal Schnepf who took 9th place (27:17) as he marked a new PR. Quenton Metz followed Schnepf as he took 14th (27:29), Gabriel Gonzales finished 15th (27:42), Uriel Alexander Lopez took 19th (28:11), and Benett Kaup took 20th (28:18).

The Lady T-Bird rested as they begin to prepare for the Highlander Invite in two weeks.
