Mesa Track & Field ranks top three in nation for both and women in latest National Rating Index

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released their Week 1 NJCAA Division I Men/Women Outdoor Track & Field National Rating Index on Wednesday.

Mesa Track & Field made their presence known as the Lady T-Birds rank No. 1 in the nation and the Thunderbird Men come in at No. 3 in the week one index.

For the Lady T-Birds this is the highest they've been rated in over five years as the highest they climbed in 2023 was No. 3 in week two.

For the T-Bird Men this is their highest rating since 2023 when they were No. 2 in week one.

Mesa will keep their eyes going forward as they are set to compete in the ACCAC Championships on Friday in Phoenix, AZ.
