Men's tennis takes third straight, 9-0 over Glendale

  Mesa, AZ – The 3-0 Mesa men's tennis team scored its second shutout of the year in its first home match, defeating Glendale, 9-0, in ACCAC action Thursday.

  The T-Birds won all six singles matches in straight sets, with a combined game score of 72-12.

  The No.1 and No. 2 singles players for the T-Birds, Beto Carlon and Cameron Khan, scored impressive victories, each winning, 6-0, 6-1. Tate Porter, playing singles for the first time this season, won, 6-2, 6-3.

  Mesa begins the second half of the ACCAC season next Tuesday, hosting Paradise Valley at 1:30 p.m.
