No. 14 Men's Soccer fell to No. 3 Pima CC on Tuesday night, 4-1. With their first conference loss of the season, the Thunderbird's record falls to 3-2-4 overall and 1-1-4 in conference play.
The Thunderbirds allowed their earliest goal of the season as in the 4th minute the Aztecs were able to put one past Alejandro Chavez to take an early lead. Just three minutes later another lapse in defense led to another Pima goal as the Aztecs increased their lead, 2-0.
Both teams would remain scoreless from then until the 73rd minute when Joshua Rodriguez would find the back of the net for his team leading third goal of the season to cut the lead to just one.
Pima would answer quickly in the 78th minute adding another goal, and shortly after in the 81st minute another to ice the game, 4-1.
The Thunderbirds will be back on the pitch Friday as they host Gateway CC, kickoff at 7:00 P.M.
