Tucson, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds men's soccer team dropped an ACCAC match against the Pima Aztecs, 3-1, Tuesday night in Tucson, AZ.
Mesa was down 2-0 before Obedd Fuentes scored in the 76th minute for the T-Birds. Unfortunetly, the T-Birds couldn't get that pivotal goal to tie the match. Pima added a third goal at the end of the match to make it a 3-1 final.
Mesa is currently sitting in the sixth position in the ACCAC playoff picture. If the T-Birds win Thursday against Paradise Valley at home, Mesa will secure the sixth place position. The T-Birds will then have to play at the third seed, which is currently Yavapai.
