Mesa, AZ- The Mesa Thunderbirds had their oppurtunities again Thursday night against the Arizona Western Matadors to get some shots into the goal but came up short, 3-2.
Obedd Fuentes scored his first goal of the season in the 64th minute of the match while Eric Vidana, in his first match of the season, scored also for Mesa.
Mesa is now 0-2-1 in their last three matches but the T-Birds are getting their chances on the offensive attacks but just aren't converting.
Mesa will be on the road again on Saturday against Glendale with an early morning, 10 a.m. start time.
