Kush Shah medals at PV Invite, Men's Golf finishes second

Freshman Kush Shah fired a second round -6 under (64) to win the Paradise Valley Invite at Encanto GC in Phoenix, AZ on Wednesday. Shah fired 73-64-137 (-3 under) to earn a 6 shot victory for his first collegiate win.

The Thunderbirds shot rounds of 303-295-598 to finish 2nd for the event. South Mountain (571) won the team event.

"The course was set up tough with tricky pin placements. Add in the windy conditions which made this track harder to score on", said head coach John Guerrero. "Fantastic final round by Kush!"

The men will be back in action Feb. 24-25 in the EMCC Invite at Sundance GC.
