Tomas Ribeiro finishes Day 1 of the NJCAA National Championship in 9th as an individual.

Tomas Ribeiro completed his first day of competing as an individual in the 2023 NJCAA Men's National Championship on Tuesday.

Ribeiro finished the day tied for 9th place as he shot a 69 on the day (-3). Ribeiro went bogey free on the front nine as he birdied holes two and five. On the back nine Ribeiro would bogey both 11 and 17 but was able to reign it in as he would birdie 18 and eagle hole 15.

Ribeiro sits just four off the leader who is seven under. His will continues with his second round tomorrow morning.
