Men's golf opens spring with sixth place finish at MCC Invitational
It was a rough opening tournament for the Mesa men's golf team which placed sixth at its own Mesa Invitational Wednesday. The event was shortened to one round.
MCC shot a 303 over the Dobson Ranch course, South Mountain won the event with a 283.
The T-Birds were led Tyler Trachel who tied for ninth place with a 73. Tyler Gerace and Dawson Moon tied for 21st place, both with 76s. Jake Trevino was tied for 27th place at 78.
Mesa does not play again until Feb. 25-26 at the Chandler-Gilbert Inv.
