Men's golf second at Glendale event
Sun City West, AZ – The Mesa men's golf team put together its best tournament of the season, but fell short finishing second to South Mountain at the Gaucho AZ Showdown played Tuesday and Wednesday at the Corta Bella G.C.
MCC shot a 298-294—592, trailing the Cougars who had a 292-282—574. Paradise Valley was third at 307-294—601.
For the T-Birds, Warner Beach took fifth place individually, carding a 75-73—148. One shot further back was were Dylan Middlemiss whose 75-74—149 tied for sixth place along with Jacob Trevino with the same totals. Ben Yehle tied for tenth place with a 74-76—150.
Up next for Mesa will be the Pima Invitational which will be played at the Randolph G.C. in Tucson, March 29-30.
