Talbot Cummard earns NJCAA National Player of the Week honor

Mesa Basketball player Talbot Cummard had an accolade filled week as he collected two honors for his triple-double performance against Phoenix College last Saturday.

On Tuesday Cummard was named the ACCAC DII Men's Basketball Player of the Week and on Wednesday Cummard was named as the NJCAA DII Men's Basketball Player of the Week. 

Cummard had a career game against the Bears as he posted a 10 point, 12 rebound, & 13 assist night in the T-Birds 75-67 victory. 

This is not the first big game from Cummard this season as he has had 10 games of 15 points or more, five games of 20 points, or more, & two thirty point performances. 

Cummard and the T-Birds will be back in action on Wednesday night as they travel to take on No. 5 Pima.
