Men's basketball was able to improve their record to 3-0 Wednesday night, as they defeated Skyline Prep. 104-50.
Mesa had five different players in double figures as Evan Clayton led the way with 18, followed by Nicholas Riley (17), Timmy Johnson (14), Lual Lual (13), & Justin Chambers (12). Riley had a big night on the glass as he captured 14 total rebounds with seven of them being offensive. Clayton also posted a double double again as he grabbed 11 boards.
With the 104 posted points in the game tonight, the T-Birds now average 101 points per contest while allowing 63 points. Their average margin of victory is 36 points so far this season.
With the victory the team has eclipsed 60% of the teams win total from last season. Their next game will be against Arizona Sol on Nov. 14, tip-off will be at 6:00pm
